The Holly Bound Story

Considered sacred since ancient times,
the Druids used holly as a welcome sign,
relying on sprigs and cuttings as they roamed,
to ward off evil spirits and brightened their homes.
Placed by a window, door or hearth,
holly adds to your holiday mirth,
and is a symbol of purity and rebirth.
Said to have been woven into Christ’s crown,
holly’s red berries represent the Lord’s blood,
and innocence is seen in it’s flowers and buds.
Holly’s leaves and berries delight and remind,
of nature’s blooming beauty in wintertime.
