The Florida Sunrise Story

In sun, rain, or cold weather,
no matter what the temperature measures,
each Florida morning has a unique glow,
where breezes blow and tides ebb and flow.
Sandy beaches with their highs and lows,
offer sunrise and sunset shows.
Taking time to roam and wander,
you may find a manatee’s shadow,
spot an alligator, crocodile, or otter,
see a sea turtle, dolphin, eagle or panther.
Smell the honeysuckle and meander,
gathering Coreopsis and wildflowers,
or catch a rainbow in a golden hour.
Under the shade of a lanai or palm tree,
may well be,
the most serene place you have ever been,
and here, tomorrows always promise to be,
the best you will ever see.
