The Buddy Story

Buddy has the quintessential affable demeanor,
of the ever popular Labrador Retriever.
To know this dog breed is to understand the fever,
and become a convert, fan and a believer.
There are few canines better,
than these gentle dogs so beloved and treasured.
These even tempered pooches love to smooch,
and have appetites for food and fun that are huge.
Few dogs are smarter or sweeter,
but they are not dogs of leisure.
This outgoing friend will play until each day’s end,
eagerly awaiting long walks, road trips and weekends.
Labs are avid and enthusiastic swimmers,
who will also athletically play catch and deliver.
They are intelligent and the life of any party,
Strong, loyal and hardy,
and the ultimate cuddly and ever loving buddy.
