The Snowy Story
Meet Snowy the snowman.
Never one to suntan,
he is at first glance a typical northern mountain man.
For Snowy is of average snowman height,
with coaly eyes and girth that is just right.
He wears a top hat and smile that’s bright,
has legs and feet like a yeti,
and is always snowball fight ready.
Like all snowmen he finds delight when days and nights,
remain lower than 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
He cross countries, telemarks and alpine skis.
Frosty was his best man and is still his bestie.
But there are things about Snowy you do not typically see.
He is unique in that he is a lefty,
loves Brown Betty and cold spaghetti,
has memorized all poems penned by Blake and Rossetti,
cannot stand a forest or field that is messy,
and has led a life that is described as full and zesty.
